Luxottica Retail Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 26 000 025 758) provides a warranty on its products against breakages caused by material or manufacturing defects reported within 24 months of the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover: scratches on lenses; damages caused by accident, abuse, neglect, shock, improper use or storage of the product; unauthorized modifications or repairs and normal wear and tear including loss of screws. 

Please note that the benefits given to you under this express warranty are in addition to the other rights and remedies you have under the Australian consumer law and other laws. That is, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian consumer law. You are entitled to a replacement (exchange) or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods replaced if the goods fail to be of an acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

For warranty claim assistance, please contact the Costa Del Mar Customer Care team via email at or on 1800 958 014, Monday - Friday 10am - 7pm AEST/AEDT. The representative will assist you in identifying your Costa Del Mar product and determining the best course of action for your warranty claim. To assess your warranty claim, we require:

  1. A copy of your receipt, or some other form of proof of purchase to determine if your product is still within our 24-month warranty period 
  2. Images of your product once received, we will contact you again to discuss warranty options.

If your product falls under a warranty claim, we will require you to send the item to the address below. 

Pack your product in a cardboard box and use a shipping service that offers both insurance and tracking to ensure a safe delivery of your product. Costa Del Mar is not responsible for packages lost in transit and does not provide other repair options.

1. Your name, return address, telephone number, a brief summary of the issue.
2. The Costa Del Mar Warranty Return Number (RA) – provided by emailing the Costa Del Mar Customer Care team

Reference your assigned Costa Del Mar Warranty Return Number (RA) on the outside of your package. Failure to do so may cause a delay in processing your claim or package being returned without repair.
