Costa U. of Blue 2008 Tour

College of Charleston (C of C)
Charleston, SC

When: Saturday, February 17, 2007 @ 6:00 pm

What: U. of Blue Tour is a pulse-pounding, music-driven carnival of fishing and adventure. Adrenaline is supplied by adventure girl Cindy Garrison, host of ESPN2’s “Get Wild.” The tunes come courtesy of Sony/BMG and two amazing bands: Cole Deggs & The Lonesome and Crystal Shawanda. Come for some free food and free Tour t-shirts, and stay for our “Gear Bash,” when we give away tons of great stuff from sunglasses and watches to kayaks. Test your angling skills in our Casting Contest. Take the stage and rock the crowd in our Guitar Hero Showdown. As much as the Tour is about raising your pulse, it’s also about raising money and awareness for an issue that’s important to everyone: protecting the environment. So we’ll pass around our “bait bucket,” with all donations going to “Save The Wild."
Where: Historic Rice Mill Building (at City Marina), 17 Lockwood Dr.

Nothing gets our blood flowing quite like the smell of the ocean. And we found that and much more in Charleston, SC. The College of Charleston welcomed musicians Cole Deggs & the Lonesome to the Stern Center Garden for a Friday night of music and adrenaline, all led by Tour “cruise director” and ESPN2 star Cindy Garrison.

One lucky student got to spend Saturday morning fishing with Cindy, Cole and his band. Everyone else was busy turning the historic Rice Mill Building into party central. Over 600 friends joined us as both the bands and Cindy rocked the marina late into the night. Thanks to everyone who helped us launch this year’s Tour.
