Pro Applicants - Please read below for the categories and industry
professions that we currently support and the qualifications we
require for acceptance in the Costa Del Mar Pro Purchase Program.
When requesting sponsorship, please remember that membership should
be considered a privilege and not a right or entitlement. No matter your
qualifications or personal connections, applicants that do not send in the
proper credentials or fail to follow procedures will not be eligible for the
program. Also, please understand that qualifications have changed and will
continue to change due to company needs, market concerns and issues within
the industry. What may have qualified you in the past may not qualify you in
the future. The entire company of Costa Del Mar works hard to provide qualified individuals
with the best pro programs so please read the information below and complete your application
carefully so that there are no unnecessary delays in your enrollment.

FISHING GUIDES
Individual pro purchase accounts are available for year-round, licensed fishing guides. You must be state licensed (if applicable) and submit the supporting documents listed below. This offer is good only for individual accounts and may not be offered in certain regions of the country.
To apply: Please send us your supporting documentation - state guide license, company brochure, catalog or advertisement and a letter of reference from the guide service you are employed by. We will only consider those guides or fisherman whose main source of income comes from guiding. Unfortunately we don't allow weekend guides, so please include documentation of at least 100 days of guiding per year - which may come from multiple guiding services or companies you work for throughout the world. Each pro must be renewed annually via a complete re-application.

FISHING/HUNTING LODGES
Group accounts are available for fishing and hunting lodges with guide services. All operations must provide a brochure detailing business structure and guiding regions; a list of full-time guides and their experience. Working guides may order only during the appropriate fishing and hunting season. This offer is good only for group accounts and may not be offered in certain regions of the country.
To apply: Please send us your supporting documentation including but not limited to current company brochure/catalog, company website address, list of current and active guides and designation of responsible coordinator (owner/manager) to approve orders. Pro accounts must be renewed annually via a complete re-application.

CHARTER BOAT CAPTAINS
Individual pro purchase accounts are available for year-round, charter boat captains. You must be licensed by the Coast Guard and submit the supporting documents listed below. This offer is good only for individual accounts and may not be offered in certain regions of the country.
To apply: Please send us your supporting documentation - captain's license, boat name and primary marina. We will only consider those boat captains whose main source of income comes from boat charters. Unfortunately we don't allow weekend captains, so please include documentation of at least 100 days of chartering per year - which may come from multiple charter services or companies you work for throughout the world. Each pro must be renewed annually via a complete re-application.

COMPETITORS
Individual pro purchase accounts are available for year-round, water sports competitors. You must be competing in at least one sanctioned tournament series and submit the supporting documents listed below. This offer is good only for individual accounts and may not be offered in certain regions of the country.
To apply: Please send us your supporting documentation - tournament name and ranking, number years of competition, and average annual earnings. We will only consider those individuals who compete as their primary source of income. Unfortunately we don't allow recreational tournament competitors, so please include documentation of at least 100 days of practice and competition per year. Each pro must be renewed annually via a complete re-application.

OTHER WATER SPORTS GUIDES
Individual pro purchase accounts are available for year-round guides in the river rafting, sea kayaking or paddling industries. You must be licensed or certified (if applicable) and submit the supporting documents listed below. This offer is good only for individual pros and may not be offered in certain regions of the country.
To apply: Please send us your supporting documentation - state license or certification, company brochure, catalog or advertisement and a letter of reference from the guide service you are employed by. WATER SPORTS CAMPS / SCHOOLS
Group pro purchase accounts are available for seasonal camp directors and employees in the fishing, water ski, surf, sailing and other related water sports industries. This offer is good only for group accounts and may not be offered in certain regions of the country.
To apply: Please send us your supporting documentation - camp brochure with pricing, history of the camp, list of current and active staff members and annual quantity of campers. Pro accounts must be renewed annually via a complete re-application.

MEDIA
Individual media pro purchase accounts are available for year-round, full-time, benefited employees of the media that represent the marine sports, outdoors and related industries. We also accept independent writers that can submit 3 published pieces from the previous year that dealt specifically with these industries. This offer is good only for individual accounts and may not be offered in certain regions of the country.
To apply: Please send us your supporting documentation including but not limit to the publication(s) that you represent, personal business card, pay stub (with dollars and social security information blacked out) and a letter from your Human Resources department reflecting full-time employment and job description. On the application, your mailing address must be the same as your corporate office and your email address must be your work email address. All of this documentation is required for us to consider your application. Pro accounts must be renewed annually via complete re-application. Group accounts are not available for this category.

INDUSTRY PERSONNEL
Individual industry pro purchase accounts are available for year-round, full-time, benefited employees of member companies in the marine sports industry. Your company must be a member of industry associations or exhibit at trade shows such as Surf Expo, ASR, ICAST, Vision Expo or Outdoor Retailer. Part-time and seasonal employees are not eligible for a pro account. Recipients of this program must also ensure Costa Del Mar employees have reciprocal pro deal offerings available. This offer is good only for individual accounts and may not be offered in certain regions of the country.
To apply: Please send us your supporting documentation including but not limit to personal business card, pay stub (with dollars and social security information blacked out) and a letter from your Human Resources department reflecting full-time employment and job description. On the application, your mailing address must be the same as your corporate office and your email address must be your work email address.
